Wheatley Elementary School

The school itself is very noticeable from far away it is run by Orange County Public Schools which there rules come straight from the school isn’t the cleanest and the atmosphere isn’t really learning friendly wouldn’t recommend enrolling your kids unless it’s your only option available. Other kids will most likely bully others for the way they dress and what they look like it will hurt your kids self esteem. Take into consideration that the school is controlled by Orange County Public schools so it would be hard to talk to the board about your concerns.

How is it that a child attend this school without anyone noticing that he has a learning disability and not being tested to be either on a 504 plan or as to be given IEP recognition!!! being put in different classes' because that teacher can't deal with that one student!!! You want to wait till the end of the season to say he will be retained because he's not doing anything in class and sometimes just sit and stare. I remember the issue I had with my last child attending there, but this isn't my child because I would have moved him. If your school wasn't capable of handing a child of this nature I do believed the school should have transferred to a location that could have accommodated his disability and I really don't think it's to late if anyone would care to take NOTICE! I know it's the end of the year and everyone is running with their heads off, But Stop and Listen this once! PLEASE! I informed this mother at the beginning of the year to let the school know of her child disability and you all (the school) will have him tested and if the school can't accommodate him they will recommend him to a school that will accommodate his disability, but the hold year has gone by and no one took the time to notice and now this child must be retained and than go back to kindergarten level because of his mentality and NO ONE EVER NOTICE THROUGH OUT THE YEAR! unless it's something I missed!...a concern relative!

This is an amazing school I sent my kids there and there grades are amazing

The school is good but the children are terrible so don't send your kids here because they might get bullied
