I just move to Apopka last night, this morning I went out with my family and the road was blocked everywhere than I asked the office where the route go to. He replied to me Mexico and you have a smart phone.

My sister's wheelchair was stolen from the Denny's in Apopka on Christmas night while I was putting her in the car. Fortunately the entire police dept was there having their Christmas dinners when I arrived back at Denny's after discovering I didn't have the wheelchair. A couple officers broke from their dinner and helped me file a report. Also, during hurricane Irma, I called from out of state and mentioned that a tree had fallen on a house i own down there and an officer kindly went over to the neighborhood and checked on the house even though he didn't have to. It was much appreciated.

On behalf of the family of the late David Herring, I would like to give a shout out to and personally thank Loomis Funeral Home, the City of Apopka, and the Apopka Police Department. Loomis Funeral Home did an amazing job helping to arrange and provide services for the passing of my father-in-law. Shannon Castro was amazing at what she did to make the arrangements much easier than what we expected them to be. We will be forever grateful for your kind heart and compassion during this difficult time. The Apopka Police gave us an escort from the funeral home to the cemetery and it was one of the greatest things I’ve seen. They did an amazing job at keeping traffic at bay especially since traffic at that time was already crazy. We could’ve used that escort home too. Thank you to everyone for all your hard work and services. It is very much appreciated.

I got pulled over by Officer Mayogra because my rear passenger tail light was out.nnHe pulled me over because he wanted to tell me to take care of it before an accident happened or I got a ticket from another city or state trooper.nnHe didn't have to do that, he was well within his rights to write me a ticket.nnI thanked him for his service and fixed it that day. Class act right there. I appreciate the honesty & courtesy I received.

Received a red light ticket. Fought it, big mistake. Hammered for 300 more bucks. Then paid it and they never documented payment. Went to register my new car and couldn't get a tag. Tax office had no record of payment. Unreal, shameful, crooks.
