Brentwood Elementary School

My 9years old daughter go to this school and I regret it I wish I could get her in a different school, and the teachers have know respect they pass you like you don't exist if there is a problem and you go to the school the give attitude I have a lot of issues with this school and I don't want my daughter to spend a next year there my daughter is uncomfortable there

I went to 5 different elementary schools before finally settling down at Brentwood Elem by the time I was in the 3 grade, back in the 80's. It was one of the Best Elem schools I went to at the time. Had a Principle name Mr. Stinson, who used to walk around the school, and a short chubby woman, If I can remember name Mrs. Garrison I think. Good Times. C/O91

Worst school ever honestly everyone cared about this one mean lying girl named Viviana just because her mom was known as teacher but this girl Vivian was known for sabatsabatoging people she said mean comments and everything wrong she did that school accepted it wowud83dude1f.there was teachers that didn't care or would ignore you such as ms . Robinson. And others they would ignore you if you didn't know or sit you away from the smart one they work so hard on the bad kids that they bring down the smart ones like me I use to panic and cry because they would say mean thing the teachers neither the princibal did good effort my only 2 favorite teachers that were super patient was ms.tullis I love you. I went to this school for years. It's not a bad school but security guards,teachers, and other staff members can be rude and mean. Some kids there are bullies and like to instigate and cause you to get in trouble for no reason. There is a lot of drama between girls at this school and a lot of fights at this school. But overall it's not that bad

This is a horrible school from top to bottom starting with the principal. She is very unprofessional. She does not know how to speak to the children or their parents. The assistant principal is no better. Someone gave him a promotion from a nobody to assistant and he is feeling himself more than he should. He does not conduct himself any better than her. Then there are certain administrative individuals, Ms. Thomas to be exact. She spoke to my child in an ill manner and was surprised and mad that I came out to the school to address the issue and tried to dismiss my daughter saying I didn't curse at her but if I did it was for a good reason thwn stated she (my daughter) has a tendency to not listen when spoken to. When I had my daughter explain the situation she then says oh no in that instance I was not talking to your daughter so she apologized for the misunderstanding and when I then said i still have an issue with you cursing at these children she said it's not yours so it's okay she's actually a good child. Granted, a lot of the children at this school tend to act hood and ghetto but as an adult and a professional I expect for her to not stoop to their level. Then there are the teachers which if you see the principal you should not be surprised by how they are and act. They dress way to young wearing the same clothes as some of the students who to their defense dress to grown for the days uniforms are not required. The teachers also have a lack luster attitude and speak to the children just as bad. I overheard one teacher say to a child since you wanna act stupid imma treat you stupid. What happened to talking to him showing him the error of his ways and correcting the behavior. Anywho I can go on and on about this horrible school. I am so happy I have been able to move my child from this school and she will not have to endure the bull crap of this school anymore. I wish I could rate them no stars. In addition, I feel bad for the teachers who actually want to teach and make a difference there are a few, Mrs. Wooten Mr. Denton and Mrs. Nodell are a few I can remember at this time
