So far I've lived here one year and was driving without lights luckily I got a nice officer pull me and make me aware of the situation my license was having issues due to my class not updating my status to drive but thankfully this OFFICER was so cool I fixed the problem and am happy I was treated more then fair thanks Aventura police keep up the great policing

What a wonderful Police department! Every officer I've seen has worked their very best and with utmost professionalism and they are always keeping an eye out for crime. I am grateful to have these exemplary men and women protect my city.

Aventura Police Department lost my respect today.nThey called me for a traffic light vioalation which was dismissed 8 months ago. And they did not accept their fault for calling me again by saying it was only rescheduled at that time, not dismissed. Rescheduled for 8 months later, really? I was there in person, they let me go by saying the case was dismised! Why it was rescheduled then at that time, why would you take my time and spend your time twice? Make no sense unless they are unprofessionals.

I dialed 911 instead of 611 to get ATand T. Officer Childs showed up to be sure I wasnt in danger. He was courteous and informative. What a role model for a police officer !
