From start to finish we have had amazing teachers. We have only highly effective, highly committed, and highly trained teachers at Uintah. Both my children have bonded with their teachers and been happy to be part of the school community.
What a HORRIBLE SCHOOL! to take the lunch away from a child, AFTER serving it to them and then throw it away. This was done in front of all their peers! Do you not REQUIRE all adults to RESPECT the children? I am so ashamed to have a school like this in my country! I am so sad for the poor kids that had to endure this by "adults" people they look up to. They don't have jobs and can't afford to pay. So starve them and then teach them.
UNBELIEVABLE!
Attended in 1983. I was an American with Greek descent and a soccer champion with Emerson Elementary because i was beat up daily and bullied as they say today , i called it picked on , by all the " Good White Mormon Boys" ..... Good mormon parents should have raised better kids .School didn't do anything to stop these kids from hurting other kids. My way was to play soccer for a rival school and kick Uintah ass as much as possible. And i loved it.
This school deserves NO STARS. They took away some 30 kids' food which was $4.00 a tray. Then threw their untouched food in the trash cans! I'm not making this stuff up! Call this school and give them some very strong words of complaint! WE Do Not Do this in America! If it were up to me I'd say punishment would be to break the fingers of the individual that took away the kids' food trays. That's fair punishment.
I would assume you are working at the school because you like children. Who would throw their food away and not think this is wrong. Stand up and be an advocate next time. Do what is right and you wont have to apologize.
