Beacon heights does not live up to its reputation. This school is not what it used to be. We have a new kindergarten teacher this year. She kept complaining about her workload if you try to bring up an issue in her class. She didn’t even bother to respond to emails. The few times when she did replied, she sounded very indifferent, as if the discussion is not about a kid. I feel sad for her lack of enthusiasm for her work. It’s no easy job, and it’s poorly paid in Utah. But if you don’t love kids, please don’t take this job. Kids see through hypocrisy. If I were in her ward, I would discuss this with their bishop.
I am not in-bounds for this school. We applied during "open window" for School Choice, and commute to it. While this is less convenient than going to our neighborhood school, it is well worth it. Beacon Heights is an amazing place, with clean well-maintained facilities, an attentive office staff, an amazing involved principal, and progressive policies including later start/dismissal times, pre-lunch recess, and a variety of arts programs. My family is very happy at Beacon Heights!
I went there 6 or 7 years ago and i love this school sad i dont go there tho i rember some teachers there like Mrs.Lg Mrs.Sarah and Ms.R i also remember some friends but i love beacon Heights Bobcats. ☺☺☺
