My husband and I are so lucky to be able to call Dover Hall the place where we got married.nnOut of all of the wedding venues that we toured during our search, Dover Hall was by far the most stunning. Even more stunning than the estate itself, is the staff that runs it and coordinates weddings. Allie was fantastic to work with and Melanie and her teams made us feel like their top priority.nnMelanie was a highly effective communicator with both us and our wedding planner which resulted in perfect coordination as we approached the big day. On our wedding day, the execution was perfect which resulted in us and our guests never wanting to leave estate. The estate provided several options for our guests to enjoy our wedding safely. We had our ceremony outdoors and our cocktail hour was a hybrid with indoor and outdoor options for our wedding guests. The estate also provides several locations within the grounds for capturing that perfect portrait with your new spouse.nnIn addition to our wedding, we also had our rehearsal dinner at Dover Hall and Melanie made sure everything was precisely as planned. After the rehearsal dinner, my bridesmaids and I stayed the night in the estate and each of us were blown away by the beauty that each room had to offer. It would be a mistake for me not to mention how memorably awesome it was to get ready in Dover Hall’s bridal suite. It is something fit for a queen! I highly recommend booking the rooms the night before the wedding to really get the full experience of Dover Hall.nnIf you are lucky enough to have a chance to get married in Dover Hall, do not pass it up! It is a venue capable of creating memories others are not.

My husband and I could not have picked a more beautiful wedding venue. Working with Dover Hall was effortless and all of the staff were outstanding. We worked one on one with Miranda and could not speak more highly of her. 10/10 recommend this amazing venue, even though we had to cut our guest list in over half due to COVID -it was still the most special time.

Looking for a gorgeous immaculate wedding venue outside of RVA? Look no further than Dover Hall. From the venue, to the staff, Dover Hall gave me the wedding of my dreams. Miranda and Melanie both exceeded my expectations planning a small wedding based on the current guidelines. They made my day that had to be planned within a month because of COVID more special than I ever could have imagined it to be. The venue is so unique and and has timeless romantic beauty to it. The staff was kind, patient, following COVID guidelines, and went above and beyond to make my day the most amazing wedding I could have dreamed of. The food and service were amazing. I could not have asked for a better wedding venue and better staff at Dover Hall to give me a day to remember forever. Highly recommend.

Our wedding was an absolute dream! We knew Dover Hall was the one when we went on the initial tour with Miranda. She was personable and professional from the beginning and answered our many questions. Our tasting experience was wonderful with Miranda and Melanie - all the dishes by arranged by Chef Lee were delightful and it felt like you were having a meal in a cozy restaurant. It is clear the entire staff is experienced and knowledgeable about every aspect of the venue, and if there were any questions they couldn't address right away they were quick to follow-up afterwards.nnWe booked Dover Hall and planned for our celebration for about two years, and in that time COVID hit with full force which made us reassess our vision for our celebrations. Miranda and Melanie were very responsive as we communicated concerns with safety and rescheduling. To be transparent, there were many email correspondences as Dover Hall adapted to this new situation, and in the beginning it was a bit of a challenge to figure out the best solution. We ultimately decided to have an intimate celebration with our immediate family and bridal party and Dover Hall was happy to accommodate these changes. We were worried Dover Hall would feel overwhelming for such a small party, but the feedback was the complete opposite. Everyone's jaw dropped when they saw the venue in person and explored the different parts of the estate throughout the day. Our parents loved the setting and atmosphere, our guests raved about the food, and everyone was on the dance floor by the end of the night.nnA consistent comment we received from our guests was the excellent service Dover Hall provided. From the beginning, one of our priorities for our wedding celebration was to make sure our guests felt welcomed. The attentive and professional staff made this goal a breeze. We are so happy to have celebrated with our loved ones despite a year of uncertainties, and we are so grateful to have worked with Dover Hall and the amazing staff to make it happen. We wouldn't have it any other way!

Dover Hall is everything you could ever dream of. Leaving the estate after our wedding weekend, I cried my eyes out knowing it was all over. There are no other words to describe Dover Hall other than perfect. If you have any hesitations about booking Dover Hall for your big day, don’t. It will be the absolute best way for you to make your wedding day everything you hoped for and more. From our first tour of Dover Hall, we were captivated by the beauty of everything this estate has to offer. We could clearly see that we could have the most beautiful setting for our wedding at Dover Hall, but it has so much more to offer than the incredible architecture you see before your eyes. The staff went above and beyond to fulfill every request we had and make our big day and wedding weekend special for us. Miranda, Melanie, and Nadia are just some of the few amazing people of the team that helped make our wedding day go perfectly. Chef Lee made the most delicious food starting with our tasting, to our rehearsal dinner, to the wedding, and post wedding brunch. We were in food heaven and I wish I could go back and eat it all over and over again. I am looking forward to the day when my husband and I go back to Dover Hall to stay at the amazing estate again, this time for our anniversary. We just know that the Dover Hall team will treat us as wonderfully as they did for our wedding.
