Easy walk through this battlefield. Maps and placards provide basic information, but if you want context recommend you read up (website, wiki..don’t need great detail).

This is a nice area to hike. There are signs, so you can learn about the history. There was a civil war reenactment event that was pretty cool, if you're into civil war history or just curious about the tools and equipment that they had during that time period.
For a small battlefield it is well maintained. Make sure you know how the battle developed so you can keep track of trails and markers and their meaning. Signage geared for Southern visitors as this was a pretty lopsided victory for Stonewall.
Simple location. Wish we had more time to explore. Interesting that so many died at this battle but the site is so unassuming compared to other larger sites in the area.
