Sheriff of integraty of service when will the insurance of permit to purchace and carry out of a pistol except my claim ? When will i win a settlement? The adjusters erroneously convicted me after purchace. Sheriff Graham atkins signed my permit 1/21/2016 creating insurance and removal of disability for my citizenship. I been disabled now for 4 and a half years.

The Surry county sheriff's Dept. Is honestly one of the best things about living in this area. Ive needed to relocate for work for years now, but i don't like the way big city law enforcement agencies are desensitized to the individuals in the community. I hate speed trap games and outdated speed limits. They're based on an average taken when vehicles were heavy, with old braking technology, and vehicles weren't as safe. A new car of most any kind can stop in half the distance, and maneuver twice as good as the ones on the road during the speed studies. Surry deputy's don't do speed traps just to shake down the citizens for funding. I think when self driving cars are mainstream, and car insurance companies make it too expensive for people to physically drive their own car, this issue will be over. The deputy's treat everyone with the respect they deserve. They actually help the community. Serve and protect actually rings true here. No ego trips, no brutality, just a good team of men and women with small town values. Great job .....

Tried to report a tractor trailer driving erratically. Got cut off after the transfer from 911 three separate times. When I finally understood what county they were transferring me to, they acted like they couldn't hear me again until I got angry & then transferred me to highway patrol. By the time we got through to highway patrol the highway had split off. Not a good way to protect the public.
