One of the best restaurants we have ever had the pleasure of eating in. The food and the service are impeccable. It is always the high-light of the day whenever we eat there. Truly wonderful.

Wow! After a hard hike up Sharp Top my brother suggested this pace for lunch. I've visited Bedford once before but did not eat out while in town. This is a pure delight. The old train station is such a nice appeal for anyone visiting. The history was amazing. We sat next to the old menus, and the prices were so low, yet the waitress informed us she could not honor those prices. LOL.nnThe staff here is amazing. They take it to another level with the service and concern. I had my drink refilled twice and I never even asked. It would get low and when I turned around a new one took its place. Our waitress was very cordial and recommended our next hike to us.nnThe meal you see in the picture was on point. It was the black and bleu. That is a sandwich with prime rib, bleu cheese, carmelized onions and it was spectacular. Definitely worth the visit and the price that was not overwhelming. I'd come back to experience this place again. Hopefully I will in the summer when I hike Harkening Hill.

We came to Bedford today to see the D-Day memorial and decided to eat before our visit. I’m glad that we did. The venue is as you would guess an old train station that is reconfigured as a spacious restaurant. The only thing missing is the musty old burned tobacco smell that I recall from train riding in my youth. And with a bit of luck you will see a train come rolling through as you eat. The wait staff is splendid knowing the faire well and they are very friendly. We had the green tomato appetizer. Wow! I also had the black and blue. It’s a roast beef with blue cheese sauce. It comes on a lovely ciabatta roll that is as good as I have had. Definitely a great stop.
