Klamath County Dog Control

My neice's dog was picked up because he got out of the backyard. She's in her early 20's works and takes care of her 3 kids. Because she could not pay the fees to get him out she was forced to sign over her dog. What kind of heartless facility is this? They would rather have more dogs then to work with the dogs owner? The man I tried to speak with talked over me the entire conversation. He was rude. He said he even wrote himself a ticket when his dog got out. What happened that you take the dog back to its owner and let them know with a warning. Do people forget what it's was like starting out in life? How short funds were just to pay bills and buy food. Shame on this facility.

If I could give them a zero I would they want you to pay license fees and then because it doesn't get to you on time they charge you twenty bucks extra as a senior citizen I'm on a limited income I take care of my dog with all the shots and vet appointments and would pay the license but I think it's ridiculous that they charge you for a late fee when it's not your fault

Called for a simple question about dog licences and couldn't be bothered to answer in a manner than was helpful or professional.
