Seaside Hillcrest Inn and Hillcrest House

Comfortable, cozy, a quaint and pet friendly getaway, less than a minute's walk to the beach. Ruth and her staff are so welcoming, even during the COVID pandemic. There are DVDs for free to watch, they offer some great discounts at some nearby eateries if you show the eateries the room key as proof of stay, and they have a welcome kit for pets. How amazing is that. Smiles all around.We were very happy and will definitely return

We booked the 2 queen bed + jetted tub for 4 nights and had a great time in seaside. There were a couple things that could’ve been improved on, 1 being the sound level, we could hear everything happening in the room above us and beside us (not sure if they were just particularly loud or the walls were paper thin) this made it really hard to sleep soundly. Secondly, the beds/bed set were covered in sand, and despite constantly wiping the bed off, wiping feet off before entering the bed, and shaking the blankets, the sand WOULD NOT stop coming. Now, the real treat was Ruth the hotel manager: sweetest woman of all time, so helpful and supportive - seemed like she genuinely cared about us. We would be back for just her but maybe book a private cottage to help with sound next time.

The rooms are bright and clean and comfortable. The Staff is wonderful. Pets are provided a cute welcome package. And there are treats in the office in case you need should suddenly find that you need some chocolate (thank goodness). Super close to the beach and a great place to stay. Loved it.

Friendly staff, a short walk to the beach and shops, a very short drive to the grocery store, and they have board games and movies to borrow as well.nI loved the rustic homey vibe of the place and the room was well cleaned when we showed up.nNext time i come out to seaside, i plan on staying here

Cool retro vibe...but gross! My friend found a fingernail, hair, and trash in her bed. They did come and change the sheets, but then I found dried up egg on the spatula when I went to make breakfast. If it were clean I would give 5 stars.
