Hallmark Resort Hotel & Spa | Cannon Beach

This resort was the ideal location! The rooms are small but had all the necessary elements... large TV, fridge, microwave, desk chair, table + chairs, deck chairs, comfy bed, bathroom with counter space, closet. The VIEW was incredible, Haystack rock right in front of us, views of the beautiful cove that makes Cannon Beach so spectacular. The town of Cannon Beach does an amazing job of making tourists feel safe and secure. They are very environmentally conscious in that there was not a piece of litter on site! This town also takes cleanliness seriously. We roamed many of the neighborhood streets and it appears 99% of the residents take it seriously too. The restaurants were universally friendly and clean. If you're looking for a beautiful place to go with a clean town, no graffiti, walking distance to food, shops, hiking, and the beach, Cannon Beach is it and the Hallmark is a great base camp to explore it! They have a staircase to the beach and a staircase to the shops and restaurants. They offer complimentary bicycles (with locks), bottles of water, and more! Though covid put a ding in the normal room service, they did their best to accommodate. The tiny narrow halls are a bit dark but once in the room, if have an ocean view, it makes up for it. And the staff, though very busy, make sure guest needs are #1 priority. The location is 5 stars! You can walk to breakfast (recommend Lazy Susan Cafe, family-run, locally sourced and organic, delicious and friendly... Pig n' Pancake not very good... too generic). (Stay away from Tom's... terrible food even though manager is very friendly... sorry!) Anyway, I'd want to live here year-round except for the weather, though we hit major sunshine and felt so lucky. If this town was more temperate, it'd probably be over-run. Kudos to the city management, law enforcement, and residents who clearly put safety, cleanliness and beauty as top priorities for their town.

Came to visit from Austin, TX and what a beautiful and serene experience. I was welcomed by 2 sweet ladies and the smell of freshly baked chocolate chip cookies which are given to guests from 5-7pm.nnThe room was gorgeous and the view..no words. Very quiet. Perfect place to come re-charge.nnThank you, all!

Great location in front of the iconic Haystack Rock in Cannon Beach. This is an older hotel and I saw a mix of old and new in our room: new bath fixtures but older tub, new bed, wallpaper, mirror but older table and ceiling fan. It actually works! Room is spotless. Walk to restaurants and shops. The beach is where you'll want to be!

Great hotel in front of Haystack! Check in was smooth. Partial view was lovely and clean. Very pet friendly. They gave our pup a welcome bag full of goodies, including treats and a water bottle. AND they donate a portion of the pet fee to a local animal shelter. We will most certainly return for a longer stay!

Excellent ocean views, reasonable pricennUpdate: have now stayed here twice, the second time was even better than the first (stayed a week). The hotel was very helpful finding us a room to work in our timeline. Amenities are great; very dog friendly. Will plan to stay again.
