Forget a short visit prior to May 1. At least they returned my call promptly.
Be sure to read the draconian cancellation policy! We left after one night camped in the dirt, in the overflow storage lot. The owner charged our card $270 and refused to make any allowance for the unused nights. The real spots are narrow and cramped. If this place is so wonderful why does the owner feel the need to rip off campers who must leave early?
Our little family of 4 loved our tiny home stay! My 4 year old has been talking about how much she loved her “little house” and we have to agree! The entire area was well maintained and quiet, a nice little walk to the river where my girls were content to just play by the dock. It was a spontaneous overnight trip but one we really enjoyed! Thanks for the wonderful spot!
We were told there were fire pits when we booked our spot. When we got here we did not have a fire pit and we had to negotiate with fellow campers to use theirs.. Having a fire is what makes it camping. That sucked, but everything else was great. Close to the river.
Small cabins, reasonably priced. These are not luxury but have all the basics (shower, bed, mini fridge, microwave). Great if you plan to be out and active all day.
