We spent a week in March at this lodge. The rooms were comfortable and nicely furnished. The lodge was very clean and the staff were helpful and always available. The morning breakfasts and afternoon snacks were a welcome addition that the whole family enjoyed. Lastly, the hot tubs and pools were also clean and the temperature was perfect. Thank you for a lovely week in an amazing place!

We stayed here for five nights the week before Christmas. Location of the property was great. Right in Teton Village and steps away from the ski lifts and gondolas. However, the hospitality of this hotel was incredibly pathetic.nnUpon checking in, the front desk manager was acting very manic and kept complaining about how busy they were. Which you think someone would be grateful for since so many businesses across America are defaulting and struggling. I sort of let this one incident slide and wrote it off as he's having a bad day.nnUnfortunately, the second encounter with this person was even worse. I was out of my room all day, on the mountain skiing. I came back to my room and discovered it was not serviced by housekeeping. So I went downstairs, talked to the same front desk manager about servicing my room. He declined to ask housekeeping to service my room, and instead belittled me and decided to try to teach me about the rules and hours of house keeping.nnWalked back to my room, ran into a house keeper and asked them to service my room, they said no problem.nnI was very irritated by the front desk manager so I decided to contact the group that owns this property which is the Newport Hotel Group. They never emailed me back.nnBut, one of the managers of Snake River Lodge did actually call me and ask if there was anything they could do. I asked him what they're offering and he offered a bottle of wine to be brought to the room. I respectfully declined.nnMy point is, for being in the hospitality business the employees don't know how to treat their guest whatsoever. There are many other options to chose from where the staff is much friendlier (aka The Four Seasons which is next door).

Great location in the village. Nice rooms and decor. Zero customer service and very rude staff. Room requested/paid for was not given to us, staff basically said tough luck and we never received a call from manager. Owners need to reevaluate staffing/management if they want to keep charging what they do.

I don’t even know where to start with this feedback. This was THE.WORST.HOTEL.EVER. Absolutely everything was horrendous. Room, service, amenities, lack of Covid protocols. The first room they put us in was like a cave. Super dark, tiny window and I think the whole room was big enough to fit just a king size bed and one luggage. The second room they put us in was hardly better and they charged a $250 “upgrade fee”. The sheets were dirty, the shower wouldn’t drain and it was beyond gross. None of the amenities listed were actually available. No room service, no dine in open at the restaurant, no valet, no bellhop, and the worst customer service imaginable. The manager Justin, literally yelled at me “that’s what you get for booking with Hotel Tonight” when telling me I couldn’t cancel my reservation and get a refund. No exaggeration, we checked out within two hours of checking in and since our reservation was non-refundable, we paid for that room and a new room across the street at the Four Seasons for the night at 3X the cost. Gratefully, the Four Seasons was beyond amazing and saved the whole trip for us.

I would go with 3.5 stars if that was an option. The main reason to stay here is if you are going to be skiing or snowboarding at JHMR everyday of your trip. And then after, head to their pool. It's a great pool. The rooms were okay. We had two king fireplace rooms. They seemed well worn. Maybe they could use a fresh coat of paint and new flooring or something. They didn't have many choices for breakfast or apres ski so the kids didn't always find something they wanted. Overall, it's a good play to stay if you want to be close to the mountain. If you're going to be snowmobiling or shopping in town or other activities I'd stay in town.
