We needed a room for the night because of flood damage to our home and we do live within 6 miles of the motel.. LaQuinta Inn rented to us and were very understanding about our situation..our room was comfortable and quiet and we had their bagged breakfast meal which was great for us because we had contractors coming to our house very early the next day..also their checkout time is not until 12:00 .. unlike their counterpart across the street that has a rule they will not rent a room to anyone unless you live at least thirty miles away from their hotel..that leaves the town of Caldwell out on a limb I think.

The front desk wasn't too friendly and we asked for breakfast the next day and they said we didn't have an order.. It was nice to be able to bring our dogs because they are family but the service just wasn't too friendly and the bathroom looked unfinished. Beds we're also comfy but had stains

Attendant was friendly and helpful. Quick check in and out. Rooms clean and well stocked. The bed was a little flimsy but not bad at all.

Receptionist wasn't rude but never supplied us with anything we asked for.. She kept saying if she wasn't busy yet the hotel was pretty much empty and she was always on her cellphone. Pool area was decent. Rooms were decent but not worth the price. I still wouldn't stay here again.

A month ago before making a reservation we called to verify the indoor pool was open, it was, you just need to make a reservation. Sweet, booked room 3 days ahead called to book pool time was told to call day of. Excellent, day of driving 8 hours with 3 young kids called got our time. Snow and road closures delayed us a bit so we had to call again and push it back a bit. So if you're counting that is 4 conversations about this pool, if they have notes on us mine is clearly this guy really wants to use the pool. And of course you guessed it when we got here the pool is closed. No explanation why I was told 2 times that day it wasn't closed. Not a nice hotel, only chose it for pool and very disappointed in this. The plus side is at least I didnt have to wear a facemask in the lobby. None required here.
