Pocatello/Chubbuck School District 25

This place absolutely needs change. Coming from a student who actually wants to succeed, they dont care much about their students or what they think. The classes are way to long, and there is never enough time to breathe in between classes. It is extremely hard to focus with 1 hour and 15 minute classes back to back. And we rarely get snow days. It was bad enough before covid, but they shoved us back into five days a week even though we haven't gone five days a week for a whole year. We are packed like fish shoulder to shoulder in the halls. Very safe! They just don't care. Not to mention they dont do anything about the excessive drug use and bullying in their schools, but sure are quick to spam emails home about one missing assignment. I think they need to take into consideration how their students feel once in a while. They never asked a single student once about how they felt going back full time, even though alot of us dont want to be shoved into a classroom doing assignments for 7 hours for five days a week after getting accustomed to a different schedule. Its burning us out, and many kids have lost motivation. Not to mention now we only have five absences before we lose credit, so we cant miss days if we are overstressed or sick. Many of us have jobs on top of five classes worth of homework, and going full time has made our weeks packed. They could have at least eased us back into it with one day off or online a week. Only good thing is there are some pretty good and helpful teachers and staff here who make these days more tolerable. Other than that, the school district doesnt care about their students mental health or well being. They only care about getting us in the building so they can make money.nAaron Marsh. sick with covid was attending school for 2 weeks while sick before testing. THE LACK OF CARE FOR HUMAN HEALTH is ridiculous and these 1.6 stars clearly shows how much of a failure everyone working at school district 25 is. I will be posting petitions and many other things to ensure that this WILL NOT FLY. School district 25 is an embarrassment on the country.

And it's truly disappointing that there is so much wrong at these schools that drowns out the good, because every once in a while, when the schools or school district make some good changes or do something great for the students or schools, it often comes through. But that doesnt happen very much, and it definitely seems like r the school district doesnt care about their students mental health or well being right now. They only care about getting us in the building so they can make money.

I hate this school district. My son is special needs and instead of actually trying to teach him and help him understand the work, every teacher he has had just passes him so they don't have to deal with him. How is that fair for him? The schools and school district are run poorly. Most of the teachers I have heard about and the ones my son has had, shouldn't be teaching.

Amazing teachers and students, especially at Century and Franklin. I love the teachers, they are so helpful in my kids endevours to learn.
