Hon Dah Resort Hotel

Pleasantly surprised. Very friendly staff and rooms are spacious, clean and well kept. Microwave, mini fridge, sink and long countertop allow for easy prep and storage for food, drinks and snacks. Casual and fun atmosphere. Also love the no alcohol and no smoking policy enforced. My lungs appreciated that. Close to lakes and skiing.

Came by just to show my wife and daughter the beautiful animals in the loby.nThen dropped in the gift shop and found several items for great prices.nThe employee, Raina, handling the gift shop was wonderful. She did the expected of showing us items and the prices. Yet she went beyond my expected by wrapping up our little purchases in a way they wouldn't break. And greatest gratitude for Raina is how she shared several nuggets of golden information of the White Mountain Indian Tribe.nTHANK YOU raina

Today we had the Sunday special. Cod. It was delicious. The rooms are clean. Poker room clean. I give it 8/10 overall.

After I found out Hon Dah was open again my friends and I went to the Indian Pines Restaurant for a special breakfast out.nnThe service was horrible. Well, at first someone brought us water with lemon wedges right away, That was nice. Then 15 minutes later we finally got our coffee (and there was almost no one in the restaurant besides us). So after 15 minutes of waiting I said we were going to pay for coffee and leave as our orders were obviously not going to be timely either. Food finally came and it was not good. My french toast was tough and had no flavor (probably made with GMO bread) No one enjoyed their meal. We ate it, paid and decided not to come again. Used to be one of my favorite places to go. . . . . . disappointed greatly and our breakfast out was ruined.nnIf they want to restart what they had before they sure are going about it wrong. We're all sad who live here in the White Mountains as it used to be a fun place to break up the boredom we had living here in the wintry months.nn01-15/2021.
