So much fun! ( especially for people interested in the history of US mining). The living stopes, frames, and tunnels here are a wonderful exhibit, with the scientific progression from shoving logs in gaps to square set timbers, as well as the different head frames used. This exhibit/museum/historical park has well-displayed silver stone mines with single frames on top, as well as a super-complicated steel head frame with a gigantic set of pumps and engines for mass production. Very much worth the price of admission. Almost nothing at this park has been staged, it is all real equipment left at almost functional capacity for people to visit, and I appreciate that very much. There is some walking around to do, but the attendant on site is very knowledgeable of the grounds and can guide you well. I look forward to going back and getting the guided tour. The main museum/visitor center was a bit unfinished, but the 20 minute documentary movie was great, and the artifacts in the museum are legitimate, if not flashy. Walk the grounds, and be amazed at the frightening ingenuity of early 1900s miners.

This place was great! You're able to see it at your own pace and the people that work in the visitors center were friendly and knowledgeable. Highly recommend!

This was really cool! Totally worth the trip. Even during COVID, the self-guided tour was available and made it easy to have a very good time. The gentleman in the visitor center was very nice and extremely kind and polite. Highly recommended to go and see when you're in Tonopah, NV.

We got there when they opened at 9am and it was wonderful. We went into the visitors center paid our entrance fee and shopped in the book store before viewing the twenty minute video preceding the self guided tour. It was very informative, well laid out and mostly a gradual incline or decline. There are an upper and lower levels that you can choose to explore depending on your physical fitness or needs. The people at the park are incredibly well informed on any obscure question you may have about the history. We plan on going back to explore another time so we can look at things in more detail. Thank you so much for an eye opening experience on the rigors of early mining.

Super awesome we had a great time looking around and the guy was super helpful and told us a lot of cool stuff. Their exhibit about the park was fascinating and we had a ton of fun!
