I had no trouble setting an appointment for my husband and I to get our NM driver’s licenses. If your new to NM you’ll need your SS card, Drivers License, Passport, and 2 proofs of residency like bills, etc. Victoria helped me and it was a breeze. A simple eye test and picture and we were done. The fee is $49 if paid by check or cash, CC is more. Unlike other states here in NM we have to wait 2-3 weeks to get our license in the mail. For now we have a temporary licenses. Sadly because...Covid we have to go up to Los Lunas for our NM plates. That’s ok, it’s a peaceful drive.

I was satisfied with the service overall. I renewed my license. The guidelines for Covid19 was in place. All went well and on time..

Melody took great care of me and got me out of there within 45 minutes for a title transfer and car registration which is super quick in my book! All of the ladies working were great.

New Mexico is a third world country and this is especially true for the DMV. I can't call the Socorro office because the phone won't even ring. I can't make an appointment because the appointment system is broke. And when I ask for help, I get nothing. How hard is it to have a phone that rings and an appointment system that works??? Even businesses and organizations in the third world have these.
