Watch out for the downhill speed trap on El Camino Real as you head south from the mall. It's a big moneymaker for these dirt bags. That hill is perfect spot for them to hide.

I used to have the utmost respect for our police department and was proud of them. I no longer trust them. Over the years I’d heard many bad stories but never believed them. They have zero honesty and not a thread of integrity. They will twist truths into lies! . Carlsbad police department should be ashamed of themselves.

Apparently this police department doesn't like its local citizens. The chief of police arrests a citizen just for walking on the sidewalk. Then citizens get completely ignored while trying to do a public records request because no officers were available. Apparently they were too busy harassing and collecting from the local populace.

Last night around 10:20pm we had an incident around our property and had to call Carlsbad PD to handle the situation, after 4 minuets or so 2 units showed up and I wasn’t happy with the way the first officers interacted with me so I requested for supervisor, SRG Jonathan Boyce showed up and I invited him into my house we sat down and explained the situation,SRG Boyce sat there and listened to my side of story and let me explain myself without interpreting me or being rude, we spoke for 15 to 20 minutes like two adults and that’s how it suppose to be at all times, My Wife and kids were extremely comfortable with SRG Boyce interaction, he was superb and extremely professional, at the end he asked me why I requested for supervisor or SRG and I told him what happened with my initial interaction with the first officer and he continued to clarifying my misunderstanding towards the first officer and he explained everything in a very calm and collective manner that I honestly felt like going outside and shaking the other officer hand and let him know there was no ill feelings, it was just misunderstanding, unfortunately the other officer had already left so I didn’t had the chance to talk with him. We need more officer, sergeants, supervisors and law enforcement likes of SRG Jonathan Boyce, this guy should be a role model and train other officers how to interact with the public.
