Good prices and helpful staff. This is sort of an oddity to have in Rhode island, but it's a necessity for anyone looking to do gardening/farming, raise livestock, or even a great place for bulk pet supplies. All around this location always has the items you need in stock and can assist with you for online purchases as well.
Completely disappointed in tractor supply. I have always found that the staff was wonderful but today I couldn’t get anyone to help me and I actually had to call from within the store to get help. And I will be calling to speak with a manager when I get home.
I don’t own a tractor. I must tell you, I’m not what you call ‘country’ some of you might interact with me and question my life choices. Let me assure you that I’m quite capable of taking care of me and mine. I do carry a pocket knife every day of my life. I was looking for a hatchet and a pair of gloves as a gift for a friend. I called ahead, and that’s when the calamity started. 4 different locations before I found someone who understood what I was looking for and could put it aside for me. They generally have what your looking for. Mostly. It’s not a hardware store. It’s not an Agway. It’s in between. It’s like the ‘Farmers Almanac’ of stores. It’s not NOT real. It’s fine.
Great selection and prices. Have everything you could want
Always greeted by a friendly cashier. Go during chick days and you will see the hatchling chicks and ducks. Fun the the little ones while you shop.nTheir pet food selection rivals the big pet stores. One thing I like is that they maintain a down home community style, and have a bulletin board where you can post notifications about pets for free/sale lost pets etc.nThe only downside is the shopper's trap at the register. Candies, small tool sets, child and dog toys. I don't like it because I'll go in for chicken feed and leave with feed, a bucket of gum drops, a unique wrench set and a new squeaky dog toy that ends up driving both my wife and I crazy because the dog loves it so much.
