There is so much of Interest that you can become overwhelmed by the shear mass of detail to attend to. The happy sense of a life well-lived and a family that existed in love combine with incomparable skill in wood carving. Simply a real treat to go through the museum and home. Such a unique spot that you will not find elsewhere on the globe.
Very cool little museum. I visited as a child and had good memories. Live out of state now and took my 5 kids back to visit. They all enjoyed it too.
Well done museum, interesting for all ages. Family members on site to help tell the fascinating story. Definitely worth the stop!
A fairly small museum dedicated to the carving mastery of Warther, and absolutely spellbinding with the incredible carved masterpieces. Three foot long working locomotives. Amazing.
Ernest was a supreme carver and artist. I could have spent hours admiring his superb carvings of trains. I have been to the museum 5 times and will return.
