I cant remember the last time I had been here, probably not since I was a kid on a schools field trip. It was a fun little trip to go back to and explore the old and the new exhibits. I think its definitely better for kids and family outings but it was a neat stop to check out as an adult and remember childhood nostalgia.

It was fun. At first when my wife said we were going, I was not that enthusiastic, but once there going into the old stores brought back fond memories of my grandfather's local store in north Toledo. Some of the display cases and items were just like his. The people there were very knowledgeable and kind. I was glad I went.
Sauder village is a nice place to visit learn about local history from the last 150-200yrs. Just recently visited to check out the new 1920's main street. Very nice. All the costumed commentators are very interesting to listen to and are happy to answer any questions. Would highly recommend for those interested in learning about the history of northwest Ohio.
