Superb tour. The house is amazing, but our guide was even better than the house! Made for a very memorable trip to Marblehead!
I didn't know who Jeremiah was until I visited his house. I enjoyed getting to know him through his expansive mansion. The property and grounds are beautifully maintained and the tour guide knew almost as much about early American history as my history-buff Love did.
If you love big Georgians like we do, this is a must see. The house, the wallpaper, and the collections are all mesmerizing, and our tour guide, Betty, was an absolute delight.
Nice little bit of history! They only let you see the 1st Floor. But nice.
We came here for an event--the Teddybear Tea Party--and fell in love with this beautiful house and its stunning gardens. The gardens we're a highlight for me. They have their trees and herbs clearly marked and a thoughtful pamphlet on the historic significance and usage of each plant.
