St. George Ferry Terminal

This place has come a long way.... I lived In Staten Island for 10 years before moving south. It’s not creepy anymore. They have security that makes you feel safe. The ferries are well maintained and are marked for social distancing. It’s like a well oiled machine. The views of the city are spectacular and you can’t get any closer to Lady Liberty ud83duddfd unless you pay for it. It’s a wonderful FREE thing to do when visiting NY.

When you visit NYC, try to do the Statue of Liberty tour. It was a wonderful experience and nice view of the Statue and all surrounding city views. Highly recommended

Nice trip

The station is absolutely gorgeous at night. It can get a bit chilly in the winter months while on the ferry, especially if you're outside trying to enjoy the views from the Hudson River. I would suggest trying to grab a seat right by the door to the interior deck, there's usually some hot air around there which makes the cold a tad bit more bearable.

This would have been a very nice place if they'd removed all the homeless people out of the terminal. But other than that the ferry is very nice and it's only 20 min ride to the city. It has restaurants, coffee shops and public restrooms that are currently CLOSED. They have also opened up a covid testing center. I do recommend visit some places on the island, ft wadsworth is the closest one. Also, try snug harbor which isn't that far away
