New York City Police Department - 81st Precinct

Came across a lost phone and wanted to get it back to it's rightful owner. Dropped it off here in their capable hands. The officer called me back to let me know that the owner picked it up. Always good to hear and be able to do good.

Well unfortunately for me I had to turn myself into this precinct which I was holding back constantly from going, but I got enough courage to do so and let me say I have never been to a precinct like this, EVERY SINGLE OFFICER INCLUDING THE DETECTIVES WAS SO NICE AND HAD SUCH GREAT ATTITUDES, they spent their own money purchasing everyone drinks and snacks whenever we asked, they Also let us get cigarette breaks, they were all awesome!! Thank you

Not only for writing summons.nMy special needs teenage son got off at the wrong bus stop. He got lost. Three officers -one female, two males- of the 81st calmed him and took him to the station house and called us. It was a very hot day. They offered him water and made him comfortable. Every one at the station were super nice and professional. We wanted to thank in person the officers who helped him on the street. But they were already back out on doing their beat, helping other New Yorkers. Thank you. God bless you all.

I adore this police department a lot. I lived by the 79th prior to moving here and let’s just say this is night and day. I never met one rude unpleasant officer from the 81st. They are the best. Not all police officers are bad Thank you for serving the community. Love, light and many blessings.

My son's identity was stolen we came made a report and nothing i went back 2 days later and was told by the officer @the desk that it was the weekend when report was made so come back i didnt know crime stops on the weekend, the female answering the phine2is EXTRA RUDE, THR D.T ON MY SONS CASE DOES NOTHING KEEPS TELLING US CALL 911 AND THEY NEVER COME STILL WAITING FOR COPS SINCE 2/6/19,AND THE WORST PART IS WE LIVE AROUND THR CORNER FROM THE 81 PT AND THE GUY WHO STOLE MY SON INFRO COMES TO MY HOUSE EVERY 2 DAYS HOW IS HE STILL FREE... DO YOUR JOB 10 THUMBS DOWN WORST PLACE EVER
