Small but nicely curated (current) water front exhibit which highlights the history of the area and even specifically of the Empire Stores building the museum is housed in. The film was out of order the day we visited but the other interactive exhibits were creative and educational. I like how there are several points where features of the building itself are highlighted and how one of the stories centers around an incident in the building in the 1800s. Worth stopping by as you check out the Time Out Food Market and beautiful river views.

2000 years of Brooklyn history in an elegantly very well designed small museum, and it is very interactive as I loved how it provided audio of real people from Brooklyn or those who became it's inhabitants talking about their experiences and takes on Brooklyn since decades ago and the short documentary which not only gave a brief history but also a feel to this whole borough.. Well done

It's a great way to learn more about the Brooklyn Waterfront. The museum is well curated, is pay as you wish, has great interactive exhibits, adult friendly and kid friendly.

Came here for the free view. Make your way to the rooftop. Great view of the Manhattan skyline and good views or the Brooklyn bridge and Manhattan bridge.
