Hartsdale

Gorgeous town in Westchester county.

Pretty little town. A mixture of chain stores and mom and pop stores. Parking is free on Sunday but you better be sure you have enough money in the meter Monday through Saturday.

Hartsdale gets 5 Stars it’s such a great family oriented town but please DO NOT USE THE TAXI SERVICE WESTSIDE IN HARTSDALE!!

Great train station, a lot due to Starbucks, which occupies the entire interior.nnNits: Not enough visitor parking and (warning) the meter maids pretty much hide in the bushes, always feed the meter.nnAlso, know that for central Westchester this station has the longest commute. White Plains (next stop north) is the mid-point and express trains run there about 10 minutes quicker. Almost all the trains to Hartsdale are locals. A few during rush hour each way have just 3-4 other stops, as express as it gets for this station.
