Salem Car Wash

We've been so fortunate to have Salem car Wash right in the heart of Salem all these years. Owner Mark is a gentleman and extremely knowledgeable of all things Salem. Currently they are undergoing major renovations and updates while still open for business. Looking forward to many years of even better amenities!

Perfect car wash. Best on the north shore

This place I'd the definition of ignorance. Always has music blaring even into the late hours. I've been woken up by this several times some as late as 2 a.m. I have 2 young kids who have trouble sleeping as well due to this ignorance, they don't care about the people around them and when told about these problems to the owner, he did not care at all and does nothing change this or to show respect to the people who have to live here. Legally they are supposed to shut down and shut off the pumps at a reasonable time but they don't and this continues every night around here. Hope they go out of business.

The self serve wash is a little dated, but still a good car wash in a great spot!

This touch-free is not for luxury cars. Outdated equipment and pressure is to high! I went through this car wash during the COVID crisis as my car desperately needed a car wash, I went to this one due to it being “touch free” and recommended by friends. After the car wash I noticed dirty streaks along the way and an disabled headlight assembly. Prior to the car wash, my headlight was working. This car wash damaged my headlight assembly on my 135i BMW. The water pressure is to STRONG as it got to my headlight modules and destroyed them. A brand new headlight assembly for my car is approximately $2500. I spoke to the owner of the car wash and he’s refusing to pay. He’s even refusing to pay a petty warranty deductible of $200 stating that this is a known issue to my car. The headlight was in working condition prior to the car wash and after having it mechanically reviewed their were no cracks or gaps that were detected other than the pressure being overall to high. I mentioned the disclaimer he had outside the car wash “TO OUR VALUED CUSTOMERS: WE CANNOT BE RESPONSIBLE for damaged or lost bug deflectors, wind jammers or window deflectors.” It doesn’t state anything else about being personally liable for any other damages just those particular ones. I will be bringing this to small claims court when things get back to normal and as mentioned before dirt was on the car still and left several dirty streaks. I didn’t take photos of the dirt/streaks but the other reviews on this car wash shows dirt/streaks on their cars after the wash! Highly wouldn’t recommend this car wash to others and to the owner I will see you in court soon.
