It closed an hour earlier than advertized. However, we did meet an informative and accomplished Shinnecock jewelry designer and other nice people who had stands outside the museum. The grounds need maintenance.
Such a special part of American history and it is beautifully displayed here. The staff were amazing. They have a big event around the strawberry harvest, the pow wow, and a winter festival. Please do yourself a favor and stop in.
Visited in the early 1960's. Knew Horse (MC), Taz and others. Good people.
