They always have what I need and if not, the honesty to send me somewhere else is wonderful. I will always make this my 1st stop. Not to small but also not overwhelming with choices. They have the best of each category.
This is my favorite hardware store. I hate to go to the Home Depot for lots of reasons. Page Hardware and Lumber in Pawling is closer to me, but almost every time I go there they don't have what I want. This Ace hardware store is small, but seemingly every time I need something they have it, because they understand the normal things people need. The people are nice and very helpful. I read a few complaints here when people claim that the service was bad. I have been going there for years and every single time I walked in the store people are helpful, without exception.
