Frank at Finger Lakes Ace was great. I brought my entire family with me to look at a Traeger grill and he was very helpful and knowledgeable. He let us talk over our decision and also gave great recommendations. He wasn’t pushy and actually stayed past closing time to work with us and let us make the decision to purchase. I’m glad that I went to a local owner rather than a Home Depot store. Thanks a lot Frank!
These guys are great at stocking things the big guys aren't hip to yet. UV disinfectant lighting being one. Plus I try to support local business. But every time I'm in there I get the distinct feeling they're following me around making sure I'm not stealing anything. And I don't think I'm being paranoid. In a years time I've been in there no less than 8 times and I've purchased over 300 dollars of stuff, but I still get a cold, weird vibe from their employees. I'm usually in my work clothes, covered in paint and in the middle of a job I gotta get back to so I can imagine my appearance might raise some red flags but they should know by now that I'm not the person they're looking for if they're looking for a theif.
If you want to support a local business stop at Fingerlakes ACE and See Frank for all your hardware needs. He went above and beyond our expectations to sell us a Smoker. Places like this are definitely better than the big box stores. These guys still care about servicing their customers. A++
