On the Southern end of Central Park you will find the Waterfalls just inside The Nature Woodlands, close to the pond and the Central Park Zoo. It's My favourite place to go and sit around with the sound of the water cutting out most of the other noise from the city and with trees all around you (The Nature Woodlands) it is even more peaceful...nAlso it's a very short walk to the pond and the Central Park Zoo just on the other side of the pond.nThe Zoo is to the East of the Falls and just of the pond but if you head West from the Falls you can visit the Water park where kids can swim and play in the Summer, or you can visit the Skating Rink in the Winter ... The Skating Rink has rides for little kids in the summer.nThere's a lot to see just in this corner of Central Park...bring a picnic and just relax for a couple of hours, I'm sure if you have kids they will love all the things to look at and do and be able to run around on the grass.
