A really fun place for kids! There are four inside areas and an outside area also. The museum has a large variety of hands-on and interactive exhibits. You can easily spend 2+ hours exploring everything.
There is a water area that is a lot of fun, but my kids always get there pants and socks wet. Shoes are required but they have boots you can wear in the water area. However my kids always get water in the boots. So it can be nice to wear clothes that can get wet or bring a change of socks and possibly clothes depending on what you are doing after.
Probably the only one place where you feel FREE during the COVID. No people walking after you with the cleaning wipes, nobody is trucking every step you make to see how well you maintain the social distancing. Small children don't have to wear a masks and everyone was fine and happy.
Wonderful big museum, good for all ages. My 2 y.o. and 3 y.o. girls loved it.
Thank you
Great for older kids! We took our 12 month old and he was really only able to interact with one 25 foot by 15 foot area with ball pit balls and mirrors. He had a blast in the one exhibit, but was bored fairly quickly. Again, would be great for older kids but not littles.
We love this museum. Most of it is more geared to kids to about age eleven, but they do have a high adventure area for older kids (this costs extra). Tons of things to do and to explore. There is something for all types of kids.
Although a few sections were closed or reduced, it was overall fun for our family. They had both indoor and outdoor activities.
My 2 yr old especially loved feeding the fish.
Would have been so much more fun without masks. Price was reasonable for what they offered.
Health-conscious people, bring your own food and drinks. The walk to the car is a few minutes away from the entrance. Totally worth it.
