Westport Station

On the train home, I took a moment on the platform at Westport while the passengers boarded. I noticed a sign that announced the theater season in the depot, another depot station theater, just like Drayton Plains. I shared that information with a woman taking the air, just like myself. On the shores of Lake Champlain, Westport could keep me amused all summer with new shows on the weekend and boating in the evening. I'm not sure what I could do for cash and enough cash. Of course, Westport reminded me of Whitehall, Michigan, on the White River and White Lake. New plays took the stage every week during the season, and I made most of the season for eight summers. I always had little worry for cash during those eight perfect enough summers.
