Have been coming here since I was a kid. Great place for fast and well made grilled food. Location is amazing, located right by a beach. Service always fast despite a normally large crowd. Some of the best fries in western ny.

After reading the review in the newspaper, we called our friends and decided to drive out the next day for a late lunch. We drove 35 miles, one way, and were so disappointed. The French fries were great, as reviewed, but the hot dogs were not up to par. I saw a fried bologna with onions sandwich on the menu and my mouth watered. When I got the sandwich, i was shocked. I expected slices of fried bologna heaped with the onions on a on a Kaiser roll. instead, it was one slice of fried bologna, one slice of cheese and a few onions on a stale hamburger roll. Was it worth the trip, no, but the ride along Old Lake Shore Road was enjoyable. Will we go back, definitely not.
I ordered 2 things today, a Texas hot and a small Pepsi. It took 20 minutes to get my order. No body seemed to know what they were doing. I was asked several times if I had received my beverage, which I had not. When my Texas hot finally came out, I STILL had not received my beverage and again I was asked if I got it. When I finally got it, it was not what I had ordered! The hot dog was like rubber. This was the WORST lunch I have had in a long time.
Hometown eatery. Great prices. Fast friendly service!
