Scotch Plains Police Department

I want to thank the detectives that showed up when I called 911 the other day. I saw a kid smoking a joint and couldn't believe something so serious was going on. I give 4 stars and not 5 because the detectives took 2 minutes to show up. Had they taken another minute or two the kid might have finished the joint. If that had happened, he may have gone home, sat on the couch, watched a movie, and ordered a pizza. Do we really want things like that going on Scotch Plains???? I don't think so. I hope he did about 5 years in prison for that joint.

Would like to thank Officer Zack who delivered my( 6 weeks early)grandaugter 5:30 this morning On my kitchen floor. He was great, and we thank him with all our hearts! Mother and baby are doing well.

I was visiting a friend on Lyde Place yesterday afternoon around 2:00pm and locked myself out of my car. My friend called the police and an officer came within minutes. Officer Mirobile badge #133 was extremely caring and worked diligently (when another Officer Florio badge 139 came tried and left he couldn't get in) ...so back to Officer Mirobile who did not give up continued and finally with such patiencenhe finally got it open. Amazing within 15 minutes! I am truly very thankful for your very caring police Officer Mirobile. Forgive me if I spelled his name wrong I was very upset at the time.
