Piattino: A Neighborhood Bistro

Great atmosphere, great food and great service. This is quite a fancy restaurant with a relatively pricey menu. I would recommend this as a place to have a drink, and perhaps some snacks on a formal occasion.

We stopped in on Saturday about 4pm. There were maybe three or four people inside. We were just hoping to have a beer and an appetizer. We had been riding our bicycles around Mendham as it was a beautiful day.nUnderstanding that we were in our bike riding clothes - we wanted to sit outside to enjoy the weather. Every table outside was vacant. Not one person outside.nWe ordered two beers on tap. The glasses were half the size of a typical pint glass. After getting our beers no one came out to see if we wanted to order. Finally after waiting for almost 30 min our waitress came out to check on us. At this point we decided to get our check and go. Hahaha over 17 dollars for two half sized beers. Not sure what was wrong -we felt as if we were not welcome because we were on our bicycles and dressed in active wear clothing.nIt is rare for me to leave a poor review. We truly felt awkward and unwelcome. Such a shame because we will back a business completely with good service and good atmosphere. Not this one.nGo somewhere else.

I like to go with friends to this restaurant with my highest recommendations. I go to this restaurant often. I get very good feedback from my friends. The meals are great and the crew is welcoming and cooperative. always when we visit this place we have a cheerful evening. warmly recommended.

We were there with a group of 5 ladies. We sat outside and were given 1 heat lamp. After our 3rd round of drinks we requested an extra heat lamp. There were 5 empty tables with unused heat lamps. The manager told us they couldn’t accommodate us and give us an extra heat lamp even though we offered to order extra drinks and there were 5 empty tables with unused heat lamps. I will not be returning to Piattinos! Very poor customer service

Order the tiramisu! And nothing on the menu will disappoint - top notch flavor profiles and plating.
