Colts Neck Police Department

They were there for my wife on Christmas night when she couldn’t breath. I love them. Professional and attentive....great group of men and women. They have our support.

Some of the finest officers in New Jersey. They care and are ready for any emergency. they are the first ones on the scene of all medical calls and provide basic interventions before EMS arrives. Most police departments dont even respond to medical calls but these brave men and woman do and provide comfort and protection to all.

As a local resident, I felt disappointed with the Colts Neck police. My daughter claims that one of the younger cops was listening to loud rap music in his police car when she approached him for help. Apparently the Police Chief is a no show at most county events, and seems to just be collecting his checks at this point. Hopefully new management and shuffling out some of the younger cops would improve their responsibility and ability to properly serve.

Actually, I was surprised about this department, Colts Neck is such a nice place to live. I was very disappointed in how they treated others, it came across as disrespectful, even childish by some measures. Over all, it seems like they have very low standards for the officers they can afford to hire.

Very poorly trained and poorly managed police department, lazy and poorly organized. The cops have no problem lying to the public and making excuses for being lazy.
