Johnson Park Zoo

It's a nice little park. It's free and our daughter loves to see the animals. I have fond memories of going to see the animals as a child too. The park could use a little love, and some repairs... but it's still a nice place to take young children.

Fun time outdoors. My family has been going here for years. Weekdays are less crowded. Nice small zoo,playground , picnic areas.

It was cold that day but my daughter loves Llamas so we had to go see them. I haven't been to this park in over 30 years and it is much nicer

Grew up going to this park. Now that I’m a parent I bring my kids here too. I love it. I live that you can feed the animals and that there’s playgrounds and it’s a big park.nnBut after a today I’m left disappointed for these poor animals. I saw a goat standing in the same spot with his head down he looked distraught. We kept walking then saw an injured dear. Jet walking and towards the pigs came back went to the playground about 20 minutes. Came back to the beginning and the goat was still there. They need better care in my opinion.

Fun little park. We went for the animals mostly just farm animals but also some exotics and dear. My two year old liked the friendly goats and the peacock which had flown out of the enclosure. There are also nice walking trails and a really neat pirate ship playground. All in all a good place to go with small children
