New Jersey State Police, Perryville Station

They target individuals in the area of mechlin corner road and it’s sad me and other normal citizens just want to go to work not scared to be pulled over. I respect the law but really nobody here is doing any harm let us drive in peace that’s all we ask. I have a medical marijuana card and it’s for anxiety and ptsd from being the the military. I never drive high and respect the rules but if I’m pulled over I’m suspected to be but in the end they realize I’m not high and give me and ticket for something random and I pay it every time I don’t find it worth fighting just please if someone high up sees this focus on people who might be over dosing or people who might be suicidal like a lot of my loved ones who passed.

The Perryville State Police are the best! They are considerate and helpful. They are human. They understand that mistakes and accidents happen. They respond to complaints and are ready to protect you. And they are nice people. I have lived on Race St. in Union Tsp all my life, and am so happy that the Perryville State Police are my local police. It is comforting to know that they are there for me and my kids.

New Jersey State Police responded to a accident my daughter and I called in, they were professional, caring , and arrived within minutes. Highly respect individuals that handle accident scenes, state police, paramedics, and firefighters on scene were all great. Thank you for what you do ud83dude4f

Just want to start off by saying I have the utmost respect for law enforcement officers and first responders. That being said I want to inform everyone about Sergeant C Griffin. I’ve only had the pleasure of speaking with Sgt. Griffin once and with my one encounter I can tell you that he is extremely rude. He thinks that just because he is a Sergeant in the state police that he can speak to people which ever way he pleases. This is what happens when the state police gives an individual like Griffin a little bit of power. I hope no one has to be treated the way I was by Sgt. Griffin. Griffin is not the type of trooper the Perryville barracks should be know by (even though he supervises them) , as I am sure there are many good troopers out there.

Wonder why such low and bad reviews. Was helping an elderly couple changing an spare tire. Called the station around 1.30pm for assist at mile 21.4 east bound route 78 since it was life risk to change a tire driver side sitting at the left shoulder. Called back around 2.10pm to let them know not to come any more. Really really bad service from you guys. And we are supposed to trust and believe in you guys? That's why there's much bad talking about cops.
