This salon is the most unprofessional experience I’ve had. I went on recommendation of my mom, who has been a devout client for over a decade. But I have tried to book in, been scheduled, paid for a babysitter for my children so I can come, and then they have cancelled due to staffing issues 3 TIMES in a row. One time was because the stylist couldn’t find childcare. Then I booked with another stylist who had a family emergency and again, my appointment today was cancelled 45 minutes before the scheduled time due to the stylist having a family emergency. When I received the call and raised this with the receptionist, she simply giggled uncomfortably agreed that that was unreasonable and asked if I’d like to reschedule. NO consideration that I’d wasted 3 vacation days at work. NO consideration that I still had to pay my sitter as the cancellation was so late (today, she was already at my house!!). NO offer of a free service, a priority booking- nothing. So unprofessional. I can’t recommend this place.
The professional stylists are welcoming and really care about what you want and the results are amazing every time! The atmosphere is boutique like as you can shop for fun jewelry, scarves, and other accessories. It has a clean, cozy, comforting family feel where you are never rushed! I have been a Client for many years and enjoy my visits!
I had my hair colored and trimmed and I walked out of there with the softest hair I’ve ever had in my life ...the people that work there are amazing and I’m going back♥ufe0f
Koren is Ahhhhhh-Mazing! This salon has a beautiful atmosphere, great prices and top notch staff. Best salon in the Meredith area hands down.
I've been going to Refuge for eight years. All of the professional stylists do a great job. I highly recommend to all my friends!
