Gothenburg Nebraska Pony Express Station

It's Farm and Fleet..what can I say.

Well worth the trip! I've visited several times over the years. This little gem of a museum had such a rich history. It may be small in size but the idea and the pony express lore it presents are wonderful!

Just a little site with an interesting story in a pretty town. A museum volunteer saw us and came over to talk with us and give us brochures even tho the museum was closed. Worth a quick stop if you need a break from I-80.

A beautiful piece of history, was sad to see the museum closed, but of course Covid Times, and the space is very, very small. You can still peek in the window and see the inner space, and the info plaques have a lot of info on the place too. Definitely see the mural in downtown as well!

Small, but plenty of merchandise to buy, and a few neat exhibits. Adelle behind the counter was a font of information. I'm glad we stopped!
