I never had problems until the old Landlord Rachel moved away. She was wonderful and took care of issues in a very timely manner. The new landlord Christine is extremely unprofessional. I have reached out to her NUMEROUS times and she ignores me each time. The only time she ever responded was when I asked for her boss’ number. But she never ended up giving me his number. Christine owes me money for cleaning a unit for her and I still have not been paid after reaching out numerous times. It’s a shame we lost Rachel because no one could ever top her. I do not have one positive thing to say about the new management. Other than that, no other problems. Nice apartment for reasonable price.

I have been renting to own a home from them for the last 4 years. I have had no issues with them what so ever. They do like to give you fees for the 5 day late on the payment, but they pretty reasonable. I have been late 15 days a couple of times and they have worked with me as long as I kept my end of the agreement. I'm sorry the lady above had such a hard time. I guess maybe that is the difference in rentals versus rent to own or purchase on contract. Now if you buy on contract know the interested rate is high, but you can refiance and lower the interest. They do not show your payments or report to the credit bureaus which makes refiance harder.

Do not rent from here! Landlord does not do anything to upkeep the buildings she owns and does not cash the rent check when she gets it. She likes to wait 15 days after getting the rent check to cash it then tries to get a late fee of $30. My roof was leaking very bad and it took her 8 months to get out to look at it with her unqualified boyfriend, I had to yell at her on the phone to even get her to do that, the windows wouldn't open and i was on the top floor the city kept giving her fines over it but she refused to fix it. Garage door wouldn't open took her a year to fix it and she tried to give us the bill. When i finally said enough was enough and moved out she tried to make me pay an extra $200 for rent to which i was under a 1 year lease agreement to protect from such things. Also she tried to keep my $700 security deposit because she had to replace a chain that hooks up the ceiling fan to turn it off and on. She ignores phone calls, text and emails never admits there is a problem never tells you when there is going to be a city inspection and then gets very mad when the apartment isn't 100% clean, like it is her business, also made me buy a fire escape ladder so the apartment was up to code, that is here responsibility not the renters. Avoid like the plague!
