Bigger than you might think! This museum features a lot of home-built or kit planes, but they have military and other aircraft. Price is very reasonable and the staff was very friendly to me. I spent about 1.5 hours here but I tend to read every placard. If you're in Liberal, KS, don't miss this one.
The museum was very clean and had a few interesting items. Front desk lady was friendly and helpful. There are a couple of large dilapidated aircraft outside that you can climb around in. Very inexpensive. Only wish there were more aircraft and less old cars.
A special feature here is the Flight 232 section. They've done a great job helping us to remember all the survivors, those who didn't make it, & the community of heroes that made the difference.nA lot of other great displays to see, too.nThis is worth stopping to see!
This place is awesome! Took my 6 yrs old grandson there and he had a really good time looking at planes and helicopters. Want to go back on my own and soak in some local history.
Loved it. Even my kids loved it so many things to see. Definitely going again! Saw planes, cars, old phones. Something for everyone.
