Both the school and home are seasonal buildings in which people can get a glimpse into the past. The school is a one-room school house that has a variety of school-related items, desks, and newspaper clippings about the history of the area. It is definitely worth a visit!nnThe log home is equally as fascinating with each room containing many antiques from the late-1800s and early-1900s. It gives a good appreciation for the challenges that the early-settlers in the area would have encountered as well as how resourceful they were in order to survive the challenging Minnesota winters.
Nice local historical sight.
