This review is a compromise between a very fishy business practice and excellent quality fish they sell.nNo doubt the sword fish steaks, tuna steaks, flounder, cod, and Scallops were top notch, fresh, and delicious as you would expect from such a place.nHowever, twice we noticed our order had been hacked up by more than 20% with no acknowledgement or consent asked from us. On terms of weight our order was blown from a total of 52 Oz to 72 Oz, or financially expressed from $84 to$100. How do we know? We weighted the fish we received and calculated the cost of our order based on the prices quoted to us.nGranted when you ask for a specific slice of fish you may get a slightly bigger or slightly smaller piece as they occur in nature, however as we demonstrated above the slant is one sided and grossly exaggerated.nThis can be a deliberate policy or lack of care: either are very disappointing, especially considering the already very high prices of fish they offer. Another very disturbing practice is the avoidance of a detailed receipt, leaving you with no way to dispute the delivery with a somewhat cocky employer not at all concerned with your pocket.nAfter experiencing this two times within a week we will opt to look elsewhere to finding fish to grill, in a place that practices a fairer and more honest business.nnBuyers beware is absolutely essential if you decide to buy at Larsen's!

Delicious oysters. Most of the fish they have on the menu are to take home and cook. But they do have some sea food to eat on the spot... such as the delicious oysters and lobster rolls with hot butter, which you can enjoy while sitting at the beach not too far away.

Fish is fresh - simple and no frills. If you’re starving, order generously. And the staff were super-flexible and nice when I showed up late. :pn(Hint, you cannot buy beer/wine in Menemsha, so being it with you if you’d like some with your seafood and sunset!)

Hot buttered lobster roll was divine.nnOrder in advance via phone to reduce your waiting time (there isn’t an easy way to get through so you need to keep recalling). Very friendly people.nnLobster mac and cheese was good but paled in comparison to the lobster roll.

Long wait but friendly service, fresh seafood, and great price. Obviously this is a town favorite and a must if you’re in the area! Take a nice walk around the beach paths while you wait for your food :)
