This a beautiful lighthouse and this was our 2nd visit. We went to the gift shop and I got the stamp for my Lighthouse booklet. I dropped $2 into the box (I do this for every stamp I get) and asked the lady if I could step outside to take a couple of pictures of the lighthouse. She said that I would have to pay the tour fee before stepping outside. I thought that was pretty petty after I had just made a donation. So that kind of soured the visit.
Great process during time of COVID. Self-guided, moderately easy to stay socially distanced. Purchase ahead if possible.
Nice area, the breakwater walk gives you a cool place to watch the loading of ships.
Cool place to visit on the north shore and take a walk out on the pier
Beautiful lighthouse, we arrived to late for a tour.
