I drive the posted speed limits and tend to follow the rules, so have never had the privilege of being pulled over in MG. However, a few nights ago I woke up to a Maple Grove squad unit parked at the end of my driveway with it's flood light trained on my house. Moment's later there was a pounding at my door. Groggily I answered, and the officer told me my garage door was open (something I forget to close once in a while). He apologized for waking me but explained that he wanted us to have the opportunity to secure our house. I profusely thanked him, told him he can wake us up any time (yes, my wife had a choice word for me; D.A.), and purchased a door monitor the following weekend. Thank You MGPD!ud83dudc4d
I have nothing but good to say about this department!! We've had one emergency and one non emergency locking our keys in our car. They were immediately there in both situations and we're very caring and compassionate, the dispatcher was also very understanding, caring and compassionate as well. A BIG thank you to the Maple Grove Police Officers, we really appreciate you!
Had an emergency with our young daughter on Friday and the previous year with my husband. Both times, the officers we have dealt with have been so kind, so compassionate, caring and calm. I have been so impressed and grateful for them. Thank you for all you do!!
Extremely rude. They focus more on their computer than they do the road. They aren't helping the community by being negative and rude. Please get some better officers. This is Maple Grove. We have a reputation to uphold.
Maple Grove police department is buisness friendly and great personalities. They work great with the hotels and keeping our city safe.
